The workflow

From Generate to a form you can sign.

Open the matter and choose Generate

Pick the form. Cedent starts from the documents, emails and facts it has already organized for that matter, rather than from an empty PDF.

The caption block fills itself

Your firm name, address and lead attorney come from your firm profile. The court name, branch and address come from Cedent's courthouse directory, so the header is right before you look at it.

It asks for what it cannot source

Anything the record does not support, Cedent asks you for directly instead of guessing. Answers come back into the draft while you keep working.

You review every field, then approve

Each value shows where it came from and how confident Cedent is. Every field is editable. Approving locks the draft so it cannot change underneath you.

Safeguards

Nothing is filed, sent, or locked without you.

A form that quietly guesses is worse than a blank one. These are the rules that keep a draft honest.

Trust-gated, not best-guess

Each extracted value carries a trust level from the source it came from. Values below the bar are not silently used: they surface as one-click accepts, so a weak source is a decision you make rather than one made for you.

Approved drafts lock

Once you approve, the draft is immutable. Filing the same form again later makes a fresh copy rather than editing history, so what you approved stays what you approved.

Continuation pages are handled

When a schedule runs longer than the form allows, Cedent adds the continuation attachment and carries the overflow rows onto it.

Sensitive data is flagged before it leaves

Social Security numbers and sensitive information about minors are flagged ahead of filing, and redaction removes them from service copies.
